PK20 is a lounge chair designed by Poul Kjaerholm for Fritz Hansen. Smooth profile and a spring steel base make the Pk20 lounge chair a comfortable chair. PK20 rests on a flexible matt-chromed spring steel frame. The original idea was to use spare leather strips from the production of other leather furniture in order to optimize production. Due to the diversity of the leather strips, the idea was rejected and today, only the finest leather strips are used. The low back version of the PK20 is included in the permanent collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
